An announcement reported the intended public sale by shipbroker Jacq. Pierot on behalf of the owners in the second half of December 1922 of the Dutch twin screw steam Rhine tug J. van Steen No. 1, horsepower 700 ihp, dimensions 40,76 x 6,77 x 1,90 metres with an engine and boiler dating from 1909. Another newspaper De Maasbode dated 15 December reported that the auction was on Tuesday 16th 14.30 o’clock in the Veiligzaal, Groote Koopmansbeurs, Rotterdam, Netherlands.
