British screw motor tug Flying Dipper 1958-1977 and Pamela Joy 1977-1978 (1985)


Launched by A.&J. Inglis Ltd., Glasgow, Scotland on 11 December 1957, completed on 4 April 1958 with yard number 1615 as Flying Dipper for Clyde Shipping Company Ltd., Glasgow, purchased by Clyde Shipping (Tugs) Ltd., Glasgow, renamed Pamela Joy in 1977 of Nautilus Continental Lines S.A., Panama, wrecked off Lisbon, Portugal on 21 July 1978 and salvaged on 17 August 1978 and sold to Joao Luis Russo&Filhos, Setubal to be broken up at Setubal which was not earlier executed as 1985. Gross register tonnage 274 tons and as dimensions 113.10 x 29.11 x 12.3 feet. Fitted out with 1-7 cylinder 1.040bhp engines built by British Polar Engines Ltd., Glasgow. Bollard pull 13,5 tons.
