Russian timber carrier s.s. Uralmash 1936-1971


Of the Belomorkanal-type consisting of the Belomorkanal, ArktiKa, Igarka, Komsomolsk, Revolutsioner and Uralmash. Built Burmester&Wain, Copenhagem Denmark in 1936. IMO 5373907. Arrived at Puerto de San Pedro del Pinatar, Murcia, Spain on 7 October 1971 to be broken up.

Single-deck. Deadweight 4.192 tons, deadweight cargo capacity or net deadweight tonnage 3.020 tons, gross register tonnage 3.080 tons, net register tonnage 1.575 tons and as dimensions 98,00 (between perpendiculars)-103,00 (over all) x 14,69 (moulded) x 7,87 (depth to main deck) x 22,70 (height mast above main deck|) x 2,04 (light fore)-5,45 (loaded fore)-2,59 (mean light)-5,96 (mean loaded) x 3,15 (aft light)-6,49 (loaded aft) metres. Displacement tons/cm draught 11,9. Two cargo holds. Range 6.000 nautical miles. Total cargo capacity of holds tweendecks (spaces under shelterdeck) and deep tanks bale 5,215 cubic metres and grain 5.581 cubic metres. Single triplex-expansion engine with a horsepower of 1.500ihp.
