British built Chilean submarines Almirante Simpson, Capitan O’Brien and Capitan Thompson completed according to the Dutch magazine dated Marineblad 1930 no. 2

An item referred to The Naval and Military Record dated 25 December 1930 reporting that the in England built Chilean submarines Almirante Simpson (1), Capitan O’Brien (2) and Capitan Thompson (3)were completed and would sail under own power from Plymouth, England towards Chile. Of the same type as the British C-class submarines with a displacement of 1.540 (surfaced)-2.020 (submerged) tons. Speed 15 (surfaced)-9 (submerged) miles. Fuel bunker capacity 200 ton. Armament consisted of 1-102,cm/3.9”gun and 8 torpedo tubes (6 bow, 2 stern).
