Krake-class minesweeper based of the type 42 design. Built at the Peenewerft, Wolgast, Germany. Displacement 676 tons and as dimensions 66,10 (over all) x 8,62 (over all) x 2,55 metres. Machinery consisted of 2x1.390 hp DM 6KVD 43A engines. Speed 16 knots. Armament consisted of 1-8,5cm gun forward, 2 depth chargers, 3 WaBo launchers at each side and 5x2-2,5cm guns. Crew numbered 75-83 (war time) men. Consisted of the Berlin, Dresden, Erfurt, Gera, Magdenburg, Halle, Potsdam, Rostock, Leipzig and Karl-Marx-Stadt.
