An item reported that the German survey vessel Planet visited Poeloe Laoet, Dutch East Indies between 17-19 September 1910.
Launched by AG Weser, Bremen, Germany on 2 August 1905, commissioned on 16 November 1905 and scuttled off the island of Yap (Caroline Islands, Federate States of Micronesia) to prevent that Japanese naval forces would capture her on 7 October 1914. She was mainly active in the Bismarck Archipelago.
