An item reported that the fenced Soviet Cherepovets shipyard with the geographic coordinates 59.07.30 North and 37.57.00 East was located on the east side of Cherepovets. This yard of moderate dimensions possessed a side-haul marine railway consisting of 2 transverse slipways suitable for newbuilding and repairs and furthermore 4 shop and 7 support buildings.
