An item reported that during a meeting of the board of the Naval Shipyards at Fiume, Yugoslavia [nowadays Rijeka, Croatia] om 28 November 1946 was decided to refit the 1.100hp tug Neptune with 10mm instead of 6mm thick hull plates to make her suitable for ocean and salvage tasks. There were two steam pumps, one diesel pump and an electric generator to be placed on board.
