The Soviet Akhtubinsk shipyard according to a CIA report dated September 1967

An item reported the fenced and road served Soviet Akhtubinsk shipyard with as geographic coordinates 48.14.30 north and 46.09.20 east at the south border of Akhtubinsk on the east bank of the Akhtuba used for newbuilding and repairs. The shipyard possessed a side-haul marine railway with 2 transverse slipways for which a crane was available. , 2 piers, a sawmill and 8 support buildings.
