The Soviet Astrakhan Boatyard according to a CIA report dated September 1967

An item reported the secured and road served Soviet Astrakhan Boatyard with as geographic coordinates 46.12.10 north and 47.55.55 east located 9 nautical miles south south west of Astrakhan on the west bank of the Volga used for building small vessels. The shipyard possessed an end-haul marine railway with transverses and 13 slipways, 2 piers, 1 wharf, 1 floating dock, a floating crane and 18 building of which a large one was still under construction.
