Dutch floating crane built at Schiedam, Netherlands for Werkspoor at Amsterdam, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Nieuwe Schiedamsche Courant dated 21 August 1929

An item reported the departure that morning at 08.15 o’clock of a large floating crane towards Amsterdam with an expected arrival between 16.00-18.00 o’clock. She was built at the shipyard Gusto firm A.F. Smulders, Schiedam, Netherlands for account of Werkspoor, Amsterdam. Lifting capacity 150 tons. Although the shipyard was very experienced in building large cranes, some even with a lifting capacity of 300 tons, was the standard design not suited. The pontoon on which the crane was to be fitted was to be of moderate dimensions. The first of the voyage was she towed by one tug, after reaching the North Sea was a second tug added. The Schiedamsche Courant dated 22nd reported her arrival at 18.00o’clock at Ijmuiden, Netherlands. The same evening was she toward towards Amsterdam.
