Russian tug Petrozavodsk executing trials off Komarno, Czechoslovakia according to a CIA report dated 21 July 1954

An item reported that a nearly completed single screw diesel driven tug executed a trial on 9 September 1953 at Komarno, Czechoslovakia [now Slovakia) where she was built. Her name was according to a comment probably the Petrozavodsk. Built to be used by the Soviets on the Black Sea was her length 75 metres fitted out with diesel engines delivering maximum 1.200hp. Three days she again executed trials after which she returned to the shipyard.
