Canadian fishing and sealing schooner Marie-Julie in 1867

Homeport Kégasca. Active on the cod and herring fishery along the coast of Labrador just like the vessels of Natashquan. Captain Simon Bourque. Tonnage 26 tons. Crew numbered 10 men. Catch of 140 cwts cod and 120 barrels of herring. Also active in the sealing leaving Kegasca on 24 March and returning end of April. Number of killed seals 300 and value 1.650 US dollars.
