Official number 34112. Call sign JCMC. Gross tonnage 1.924 tons, tonnage under deck 1.682 tons, net tonnage 1.140 tons and as dimensions 251.2 x 43.6 x 18.2 x 20.2 (moulded depth) feet. Built by American Shipbuilding Co. Ltd., Cleveland, Ohio, USA in August 1916. Owned by Morihei Kisen KK, Amagasiki, Japan. Torpedoed by the American submarine USS Flying Fish (SS-229) on a distance of about 175 miles south east of the Ryukus. As the Gijones of Blikstad Magnus, Ols, Norway and as Tune of R.M. Vik, still Norway-flagged.
