Launched at Blohm&Voss, Hamburg, Germany win 1928 as the Kungsholm for the Swedish American Line on the route Gothenburg-New York, since 31 December 1941 under control of the US War Shipping Administration and used as the army troop transport John Ericsson, since 1947 of the Italian shipping company Home Lines as the Italia and since 1964 as the Imperial Bahama of the Freeport Bahama Enterprise and broken up at Bilbao, Spain in 1965. Accommodation for 1.428 passengers. Speed 17,5 knots. Gross register tonnage 21.250 tons, deadweight 9.490 tons and as dimensions 181,32 x 22,0 x 11,52 or 594.11 x 72.2 x 38.10 feet.
