According to a list dated March-April 1944 was the cargo barge Carnion part of the fleet of the Dnjepr-Küsten-Schiffahrt GmbH (D.K.S.), Romania-flagged, dimensions 55,25 x 9,20 x 2,50 metres and cargo capacity 895 tons.
