British Royal Navy already list 15 minesweepers according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad No 4 dated April 1940

An item referred to the Shipbuilding &Shipping Record dated 15 February 1940 reporting that until then 15 British minesweepers were lost with 174 victims, 4 ships disappeared with all hands, 6 were lost after striking mines and 3 by bombs dropped by aircraft.
