According to a list dated March-April 1944 was the cargo barge Gherasimos part of the fleet of the Dnjepr-Küsten-Schiffahrt GmbH (D.K.S.), Greece-flagged, dimensions 57,35 x 10,00 x 1.95 metres and cargo capacity 832 tons.
