German commandeur Hans Carel returning from Greenland to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamse courant dated 14 July 1785

An item dated Amsterdam, Netherlands 12th reported the arrival of commandeur Hans Carel with 80 quardelen seal blubber on the Elbe, Germany returning from Greenland. He departed the ice on 27 June on 57 degrees stating that is was a very worse seal season, concerning the whaling he known no details.
