German Greenland commandeur N. Feddersen arrived at Tönning, Germany according to the Dutch newspaper Leydse courant dated 12 July 1805

An item reported the arrival of commandeur N. Feddersen at Tonningen, returning from Greenland. He stated that between the end of May and begin of June 6 whalers of Hamburg caught 26 whales, 10 quaerdelen seal blubber, 3 whalers of Stade 13 whales, 8 of Glückstadt 8 whales and 6 of Altona 24 whales. Especially in begin June was the whaling successful.
