Built as Kevin Candies for account of Otto Candies Company, Des Allemands, Louisiana, USA by Halter Marine Incorporated, Lockport, Louisiana with hull number 981 in 1981. New owner in 1981 became Hornbeck Offshore Transportation, Covington, Louisiana renaming her Michigan Service, since 2013 of Genesis Marine Company, Houston Texas, USA who renamed her Genesis Vigilant in 2015. Steel built. Summer deadweight 381,94 tons, gross tonnage 107 tons, net tonnage 73 tons and as dimensions 98.5 x 34 x 17 (depth) feet.
