Soviet fleet for sealing in White Sea fitted out according to the Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf dated 21 December 1932

An item dated Leningrad, Russia 20 December reported that the Soviet trust for hunting sea mammals decided to catch this winter season 120.000 seals. For this purpose was a White Sea fleet fitted out of 3 icebreakers, another large ships and hunting 7 canoes. On islands in the White Sea were aircraft to be stationed used for scouting for the places where seals gathered.
