German Greenland seal hunters returning at Hamburg, Germany according to the Dutch newspaper Oprechte Haerlemsche courant dated 7 August 1751

An item dated Amsterdam, Netherlands 6 August reported the arrival at Hamburg, Germany of Nikke Nummel with 140 and Laurens Laurensz with 64 quardelen seal blubber returning from Greenland. They reported the sighting of the whalers Europa commandeur Symon Janse Walig and the Wakende Kraan commandeur Willem Hendrikse seen, the latter with 5 whales. The rumors that both ships were lost seemed more or les to be false. The seal hunters left Greenland begin July.
