German seal hunters Geert Jasper and Pay Aykjes returned according to the Dutch newspaper Oprechte Haerlemsche courant dated 8 July 1730

An item dated Amsterdam, Netherlands 7 July reported the arrival on the Elbe, Germany of Geert Jasper with 120 barrels seal blubber, Pay Aykes 70 barrels and another with 30 barrels, leaving 18 June the hunting fields. Underway they hailed Cornelis Jacobs of Hamburg who was in a area with a lot of whales.
