Catch results of Dutch Davis Strait whalers according to the Dutch newspaper Leydse courant dated 17 August 1789

An item sated Amsterdam, Netherlands 15 August reported the arrival two days earlier of the Dutch commandeur G. Adix returning from Davis Strait with 4 whales 165 quardelen. He supplied details about other Davis Strait whalers apparently also returned namely D.G. Swart, J. Jansz and P. Bouwen each 4 whales, J. Mathysen, G. Cornelis and J. Hansen each 3 whales and Comm. Dirks 1 whale.
