Dutch Davis Strait commandeurs Tobias Boekhout and Fredrik de Graef returned according to the Dutch newspaper Amsterdamse courant dated 2 April 1722

    

An item dated Amsterdam, Netherlands 1 April reported that Tobias Boekhout (1) returned at Nieuwendam, Fredrik de Graef (2) at Enkhuizen and in the Vlie another whaler all returning from Davis Strait. Off Hitland [Shetland Isles[ they lost in a heavy storm some chaloupes and men.
