German Davis Strait commandeurs Jurgen Hendriksz, Jurg Esscher, Jan de Vries and Tjeert Bintjes returned according to the Dutch newspaper Amsterdamse courant dated 15 August 1722

An  item dated Amsterdam, Netherlands 14 August reported the arrival on the Elbe, Germany of Jurgen Hendriksz and Jurg Esscher together one whale, Jan de Vries 0,5 whale and Tjeert Bintjes with 2 whales 110 quardelen blubber all returning from Davis Strait.
