Of the Wolf-class. Launched by Kaiserliche Werft, Wilhelmshaven, Germany with yard number 3 on 21 March 1878, commissioned on 1 October 1878, stricken on 3 February 1906, became a repair ship and broken up in 1919. Served in Far East (East) and German South West Africa [nowadays Naminia]. Building costs 487.000 Mark. Displacement 490 (construction)-570 (maximum) tons and as dimensions 44,5 (waterline)-47,2 (over all) x 7,66 x 3,4 (maximum) metres. Propulsion consisted of 2 1 cylinder engines and 2 boilers supplying 260hp allowing a speed of 9,4 knots. Barkentine rigged with a sail area of 541 square metres, later reduced to 290 square metres. Armament consisted of 2-12,5cm L/13 hoop guns, 2-8,7cm L/24 hoop guns and 3-3,7cm revolver guns.
