German surface raiders active on the South Atlantic Ocean according to the U.S. Joint Intelligence Committee. Daily summary dated 22 May 1942

An item reported that it was believed that two cargo ships in the southern part of the Atlantic Ocean and which were overdue were destroyed by German surface raiders. Since around 1 March were 12 ships probably destroyed by surface raiders.
