Most Basque Davis Strait whalers trurned according to the Dutch newspaper Leydse courant dated 2 October 1724

An item dated Amsterdam, Netherlands 30 September reported that except for 6 ships all Davis Strait whalers returned to St. Jan de Luz, France and Passage [Biscay].
