Results of Dutch Greenland whalers arriving in the Vlie, Netherlands good according to the Dutch newspaper Oprechte Haerlemsche courant dated 31 August 1677

An item dated Amsterdam, Netherlands 30 August reported the arrival of 8 Greenland whalers in the Vlie, Netherland of which one caught 11 whales, the results of the others were also good. There was also a galliot reported which caught just one whale and which had a crew of 12 men. It however recaptured a Greenland whaler of Hamburg, Germany from the French which had set a prize crew of 10 men on board. She arrived at Bergen. The Greenland whaler caught 5 whales.
