Dutch steam trawler Tjepma built at Rotterdam, Netherlands in 1901 according to the Dutch magazine Scheepvaart dated 28 December 1901

A list of the ships launched in 1901 reported the Dutch trawler Tjepma of 200 tons by Bonn&Mees, Rotterdam, Netherlands for account of Van der Lely, Maassluis, Netherlands.(1)

Note

1. The Scheepvaart dated 11 September reported her launching in the afternoon of this herring steam trawler with as dimensions 39 x 6,55 x 3,81 (hold) metres for account of J.M. v.d. Lely. The Nieuwe Vlaardingsche courant dated Saturday 19 October reported her successful trial on Thursday. The Rotterdamsch nieuwsblad dated 4 November reported that the crown approved the founding of the N.V. Stoomvischschip Tjepma for a period of 25 years, capital 50 shares of 1.000 Dutch guilders, director Johannes Simon Hegelmeijer and commissaries Jacob Martinus and Hendrik Cornelis van der Lely, Maassluis and Abram Chabot, Rotterdamm.
