Japanese cargo ship (ex-Wugo Maru 1919-1938) Ugo Maru 1938-1944

Laid down by Uraga Dock Co. Ltd., with yard number 169 on 14 December 1919, launched on 16 April 1920, completed on 16 May 1920, chartered from Kita Nippon Kisen K.K., Kobe, Japan by the Imperial Japanese Army in 1929, again chartered by the army as troop transport 1937-1938, requisitioned by the Imperial Japanese Navy on 3 October 1940, converted into an auxiliary transport, given back to the owners but at the same time requisitioned by the army and became IJA No. 200 on 30 September 1941, given back on 12 March 1943 and sunk by the American submarine USS Hammerhead (SS-364) on 29 October 1944 on 14 nautical miles north of Miri, Borneo, Dutch East Indies. Gross tonnage 3.683 tons, under deck 3.252 tons, net tonnage 2.223 tons, deadweight 5.604 tons and as dimensions 330.0 x 46.0 x 27.7 x 8.6 (light)-23 (loaded) feet.
