An item reported the arrival at Honolulu, Hawaii on 1 September of the American whaling ship Fama captain Hoyer of Boston, USA 1.000 barrels whale oil 50 barrels sperm. In the edition dated 25 September was an announcement published that she was bound for Boston, USA via Tahiti, French Polynesia and Valparaiso, Chile and able to take cargo or passengers with her. She intended to depart around 8 October.
