Dutch magazine De Prins dated 6 April 1918
Was the largest ship of concrete built in the Netherlands with a gross displacement of 480 tons and as dimensions 38,5 x 5,05 x 2,42 metres. Built by N.V. Jouret, Krimpen a/d Lek, Netherlands.
Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf dated 1 December 1917
The Dutch newspaper Scheepvaart dated 20 March 1918 reported the successful launching a day earlier at 09.30 o'clock of this first reinforced concrete built lighter and calling her Evelina. Among the audience was chief shipping inspector Muller and Van der Hegge Spies advisor in shipping affairs. The edition dated 8 July 1918 reported the launching the same day at 04:00 o'clock of a second lighter with the dimensions 38,50 x 5,05 x 2.32 metres. The shape of the hull was similar to common iron ships.
