Built by Yokohama Dock Co. Ltd., Yokohama, Japan in 1924. Call sign JOBA. Oil fuelled reciprocating steam machinery, 126nhp, fuel oil bunker capacity 473 tons and a range of 9.120 nautical miles with a speed of 9,5 knots. Speed 9,5 (cruising)-11 (maximum). Gross register tonnage 1.807 tons, under deck 1.209 tons, net register tonnage 1.164 tons, deadweight 1.633 tons and as dimensions 250.5 x 39.0 x 18.5 x 8.9 (light)-16 (loaded) feet. In 1939 owned by Nichiro Gyogyo K.K., Shinagawa, Japan. Requisitioned by the Japanese navy as a chartered transport (B-AK)?
