American whaler Eliza visited Norfolk Island, New Zealand according to the New Zealand newspaper Daily Southern Cross dated Tuesday 1 April 1873

An item reported the arrival at Norfolk Island, New Zealand on 19 February of the American whaler Eliza captain Drummond from whaling without any results in the last few months. She departed for whaling on 24 February.
