Australian whaler Onward visited Norfolk Island, New Zealand according to the New Zealand newspaper Daily Southern Cross dated Tuesday 1 April 1873

An item reported the arrival at Norfolk Island, New Zealand on 11 March of the whaler Onward captain Conley from Sydney entering for water supply. She departed again for whaling on 11 March.
