A list dated Bucharest, Romania dated 26 March 1944 dealt with the ships possessed by the German Danube shipping companies and which could be used if really necessary for service on the Black Sea. She mentioned the Erste Donau-Dampfschiffahrtsgesellschaft (I.DDSG) owned motor tug Salzbach with a horsepower of 800 hp.
