An item reported that the cruiser recently bought by the Colombian cabinet in France and which originally was to be built for the French navy was recently launched. Measurement 1.300 tons, speed 20 knots with 1.500hp and armed with 21 guns. The cruiser and gunboat bought in the USA were to serve on the Atlantic Ocean with negotiations going on for a similar cruiser to serve on the Pacific Ocean.
