Dutch Greenland whaler Hengelaer returned home according to the Dutch newspaper Oprechte Haerlemsche courant dated 27 July 1684
An item dated Amsterdam, Netherlands 24 July reported the arrival of the fluyt de Hengelaer master Cornelis de Zeeuw returning from Greenland 14 whales.
