An item reported the arrival of the German cruiser SMS Hertha (1) at Singapore returning from the Sabang Bay, Poeloe Weh, Dutch East Indies. Her commanding officer was ordered to investigate of the coal bunker station there owned by the Sabang company was suitable for regular use by the German navy for coal bunkering.
