American whaling ship Huron visited Lahaina, Hawaii according to the newspaper The Polynesian dated 2 October 1847

An item reported the arrival at Lahaina, Hawaii on 25 September by the American whaling ship Huron master Woodruff of Sag Harbor 24 months out 2.100 barrels whale oil 700 barrels whale oil this season.
