The Dutch newspaper Het Vaderland 23 June 1903 reported that on the auction on Thursday 9 July 11.30 o’clock at the navy yard at Hellevoetsluis, Netherlands also the condemned torpedo boat VII would be sold. The edition dated 13 July reported that the II (VII?) was sold for ƒ 1.510 to J. van der Wiele sr., Hellevoetsluis.
