American whaler Bengal returned at Salem, USA according to the newspaper The Inquirer and Mirror dated Saturday 28 February 1835

An item dated Salem 23 February 1835 reported the arrival of the whaler Bengal, master [George G.] Russell [of Salem] from the Pacific Ocean 1.200 barrels sperm oil. On 21 January was for just a few hours Pernambuco, Brazil visited and Russell reported the outbreak of a revolution the night after their departure.
