Dimensions 50.60 x 9.75 x 360 metres, measured 500 ton and 280 ihp horsepower. Built by Scheepswerf J.&K. Smit with yard number 404 in 1886 for Adriaan Volker, managaed by A. Volker Lz.&P.A. Bos. Was in 1912 involved in an accident. The Dutch newspaper Rotterdamsch nieuwsblad dated 6 February 1912 published an item dated Lisbon, Portugal 2 February that the wood planking on both her sides was torn off and the engines damaged. She was underway from Antwerp, Belgium to Buenos Aires, Argentina departing from Lisbon as the G.G.1 (Gebroeders Goedhardt 1). The edition dated 23 March reported that she stranded 70 miles of Jaragua and was abandoned. More or less was she suggested that she was a former Dutch (?) gunboat converted into a dredger. Uncertain if this Kameleon is similar to the one built in 1886.
