Caledon-class
An item reported that the British light cruiser HMS Calypso (1) arrived at Lisbon, Portugal on 22 October.
Note
1. Part of the C-class Caledon sub-class light cruisers, preceded by Arethusa-class and succeeded by Danae-class. Laid down by Hawthorn Leslie and Company, Hebburn, England on 17 February 1916, launched on 24 January 1917, commissioned on 21 June 1917 and torpedoed by the Italian submarine Alpino Gagnolini about 50 miles south of Cape Lithion, Crete, Greece on 12 June 1940.
