First catch results of Dutch Greenland sealer Maasstroom promising according to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamsche courant dated 8 June 1826

In an announcement stated the board of the Maatschappij voor de Walvischvangst situated at Rotterdam, Netherlands that she received a tiding of commandeur Adriaan arrived at Harlingen, Netherlands who was informed on 11 April by commandeur Douwe Janse Cupido who departed on 9th March with the Maasstroom to Greenland that everything was well on board and already had a catch of 2.400 seals. The board want to inform her shareholders with this announcement with the hope that the Maasstroom would return with a very blessed catch.
