Just moderate results of Dutch seal hunters according to the Dutch news[a[er Het Amsterdamsch handels- en effectenblad dated 23 November 1863

An item referred to the annual account for 1862 with the results of the Dutch ocean fishing. The two ships fitted out at Harlingen, Netherlands achieved just moderate results. The Noordpool of the firm Zeilmaker&Co, had a catch of 3.462 seals or 5.22,5 barrels oil resulting in ƒ 28.700. The Dirkje Adema fitted out by the firm Barend Visser&Zn. had a catch of 3.000 seals.
