The two ships fitted out at Harlingen, Netherlands achieved just moderate results. The Noordpool of the firm Zeilmaker&Co, had a catch of 3.462 seals or 5.22,5 barrels oil resulting in ƒ 28.700. The Dirkje Adema fitted out by the firm Barend Visser&Zn. had a catch of 3.000 seals.
