An item reported that the naval base at Constanza, Romania was to be transferred to Sulina. At that moment were two lighters available fitted out as floating engineering and repair workshops. Outside Sulina was a petrol tank under construction and an aerodrome to be built on the beach. Five hundred naval recruits were gathered in the neighbourhood of Sulina to be trained there.
